trying to replace T61p 14” 1400x1050 SXGA+ by saturday

I need a miracle... my loyal t61p's backlight decided to go today, and I'm leaving for a month of travel on Saturday. Ouch.

I need a complete/working T60 14” 1400x1050 SXGA+ LCD display assembly by Saturday, in New York City. So far, I haven't found anything thats worth buying online, everything is as expensive as the entire machine is worth

No preference on which LCD (Samsung, TMD, or BOE-Hydis) as long as its bright, clear, has no dead pixels and is unscratched.

Needs to be complete with hinges, antenna cables and Bluetooth.

If you have one or know where I could get one, please contact me asap!

This guy has an R60 with 14" SXGA+ LCD.
That LCD will fit in your T60/T61 lid.
Maybe you can make a deal with him?

How can I find what LCDs would work in my system? I have available one that has ASMP41V9446 and another that has ASMP41V9447 - although this seems like specifically the cable part number? Is there some other part number/FRU on the panel itself somewhere?

Are you sure it's the backlight rather than the GPU? Have you confirmed that the laptop can still drive an external monitor?

Any of the panels on 4:3 T60, R60 or T61 machines will work fine. The lids are different, but if you just change the panel, you will be fine. I usually have one around, but I don't right now.
