I bought this new and fashioned a ZIF adapter to fit X40, X41 and X41T. It's been tested but never really used. No problems. The ZIF adapter has been modified, soldered and tested so it's all ready to mount in your machine. $70 is what I paid for the hdd, so your getting the tested ZIF adapter for free. Free Shipping.
