Here we have a nice system that performs very well. Not the quietest or coolest of the T4x series, but not too bad at all. So, let's see, what can we say about the condition? Outside, on the lid there are the normal scuffs from it's years of service, but nothing really bad. None of the chassis is cracked or broken, but the battery is dented and cracked on the right corner. Looks like it may have been dropped, but didn't hit hard enough to do any damage anywhere other than the corner of the battery. The LCD look quite nice when viewed by itself, but next to my newer R61, it looks slightly yellow. It is also slightly darker in the lower corners, as is fairly common among these older FlexView displays. But I don't see any other defects, such as stuck or dead pixels, or dust/pressure spots. The keyboard has mild shine on some keys, but none of the characters are worn away.
I have not seem any signs of any kind of GPU or southbridge issues with this ThinkPad.
Haven't shot any pictures just yet, so if interested let me know any I'll get some to you.
Asking $165 plus shipping at cost almost anywhere. Paypal OK, I'll absorb the fees.
