Selling my excellent condition X61 T8100. This unit didn’t travel much and was well cared for. I’ve never had any issues with this unit, it’s been flawless. $400.

Are the X61's no longer desirable?

They are desireable, but don't command that much of a premium.

Yours has great specs and might sell for that on Ebay, but a number of folks around here could put together an equivalent system for less.

Is this one, one of the sort of rare models able to use up to 8GB of ram ?

Yes, this will support up to 8GB of ram.
