Hi Everyone;

I am finally selling my Fav. T60P laptop with some sadness; since its now hardly used. I have owned this machines since NEW ORDERED from factory - and is being sold 'as is condition' - since warranty is exipred now

Here are some details:

Thinkpad T60P Model 8471 - CTO WARRANTY = Expired : June 2011

Currently Installed:
Windows 7 Enterprise x64 ; (legal install) (upgraded from XP Pro - recovery cds also avalible)
Seagate 500GB x 7200RPM Hybrid (SSD+ HDD) (upgraded from 80Gb)
Ultrabay HARD DRIVE ADAPTOR (currently has 500GB 7200rpm with linux + OSX installed)
8x CD/DVD writer [i](std for these model = CD writer only)[/i]
Display Screen = Upgraded to 1680 x 1050
Video card = Std factory = Ati FireGL V5250
Memory = 2 x 2GB = HYPERX - high speed rams with CL5555 ratings

Think-Toolbox Summary - testings all hardware PASSED

PRICE: $450.00 + Shipping + 3% extra if paying via paypal

This machine has been replaced with W510FHD model - which I was hoping to get the FULL TOUCH screen to work in Apple OSX , but wasnt able to make it work ,,, so now runs OSX, linux, and Win7 all 64 bit. So a great decent spare machine is up for SALE!!

Question: Is this T60p having the "old" 4:3 format LCD or is it one of the newer widescreen models?? I am being confused by the information about "1680 x 1050" vs. the "1400 x1050"...

8471= WIDE SCREEN models
This screen was REPLACED by lenovo under the famous ATI RECALL of T60 Series machine (that recall - free replacement in now closed) It seems the NEWER LCD i got is able to do "1680 x 1050" resolutions (as it says in Win 7 x64. However , for our home use, we have always used the External Mon - which is set to a different res - as its a 16.9 High Def version.
