FREE for shipping - dead X-6x 8 cell batteries (NOT tablet)

I have just gotten a Thinkpad X-60 only to find that BOTH of the 8-cell batteries that I had on-hand are in the RED & "failed due to normal wear" and cannot be charged per Lenovo Battery widget. Both are genuine Lenovo FRU 93P5029, ASM PN 92P1172.
If someone can use the dead batteries for some type of project, you are welcome to have them for free if you want to pickup from me in Houston. I can also send them via USPS flat rate envelope for $6.50 via Paypal (equals postage plus paypal fees). I will keep them around until the end of September and send them to recycling if there is no interest by that time.
