SOLD: Exc. Z61m WSXGA+/X1400/1.83GHz/2GB/80GB/DVDRW - $179

SOLD to forum member: ThinkPad Z61m in overall excellent condition. This is a higher level model with a WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050) LCD, ATI X1400 discrete graphics and a DVD burner. All Z61 models have an internal SD memory reader. This model has the fingerprint reader, too.

This Z61m shows mimimal wear and is in truly excellent condition. There is very faint wear on the keyboard and palmrest/touchpad (the original stickers look great), and the rest of the plastics have very few, light scuffs. The LCD is high resolution, as noted above. It is bright on the highest two settings and does not appear to have any dead pixels or defects within the screen. The hinges feel like new. The six cell battery is still in the green zone and still holds approximately 58% of the original capacity. It will come with the original Z61m Windows XP Pro factory image and recovery partition intact.

This is a really nice Z61m. I have owned several. The nice thing about this model is that it performs well now (even with Win 7) and you can upgrade it in several ways - more memory, Core 2 Duo CPU, an SSD, WUXGA LCD, etc. My main work machine is still a Z61m (with an Intel 320 series SSD)!
