This has been my main computer (and first thinkpad!) for the last year and half or so. I have cared for it almost obsessively and hope someone will be able to put it to as good use as I have. Despite seeming dated, these machines run Windows 7 very well. A great little laptop for travel or general use.

Using any laptop for a while you'll gradually find all its flaws, as I have with this machine over time. The overall body is in great shape, small marks all around but no cracks or dents and nothing more than skin deep. Slight bit of shine on the keyboard/palmrest, but nothing ridiculous. LCD is in overall good shape, a few small scratches that are only visible with the screen off and no dead pixels I could find. There are however a few very faint light spots in the bottom right of the screen, most visible on a white background (honestly I only noticed them looking for flaws just now). I couldn't get the camera to pick them up but they are there. The biggest issue is with the battery, sometimes it just dies. I've never lost any work due to this (windows just goes to sleep), and sometimes weeks will pass before it happens again. The battery is a Chinese aftermarket (original IBM straight up died); power manager says it will last 6-7 hours which I can attest to. Comes with XP Pro installed and updated.
Sorry for how long-winded that was, I like to think more information is better than less
