we really need to collect dead keyboards in a central location and give the keytops to forum members when they need one..
i know that y'all will verify the correct keyboard since there were three different ones for my T60..

I had to replace a keyboard that had a missing trackpoint. I saved the defective keyboard, hoping someone would need key caps. George's part number matches my defective kb, so we are 'good to go'.
Forum members have shared screws with me before and also LOTS of advice. It's always a good thing to pass something along that is still useable

I have 20-30 T6x keyboards with missing keys or defective keybds. Anyone needing one, please let me know. I don't have the time to mess with them so sending them to a 'central repository' would work great for me. I'm open to ideas - just please don't ask me to do much time-consuming work.
