My daughter's best friend for the past 15-16 months, retired when she grabbed the T60p that I was building for myself...

the basics:

Intel PM 750 (1.86Ghz/533Mhz/2MB L2 cache) Dothan CPU
1GB (2x512 MB) RAM
60GB/5400rpm HDD with factory preload (no recovery partition)
14" SXGA+ (1400x1050) LCD with Ambient Light sensor
Intel 915GM chipset
Intel 900 integrated graphics
DVD RW multiburner
Broadcom abg wireless card
Broadcom Gigabit LAN
56K modem
Touchpad and (HP's version of) trackpoint
3 USB 2.0 ports
Serial port
Docking station port
SD card reader
Secure card reader
Good battery (2-3 hours with wireless on - NHC reports battery wear at 0% )
XP Pro COA
4.99 lbs with media drive inserted - very light for a machine of this size
2 genuine HP AC adapters

known imperfections:

- Normal wear and tear for a laptop from this era, no cracks or serious scratches though
- A couple of light pressure marks on the screen
- Trackpoint cap is from a ThinkPad and while it works, it does look kinda weird on this keyboard - I'd suggest replacing it with the original one - but that's me...you might just love it this way.
