512MB RAM.........now 1GB (2x512MB)
60GB HDD.............NONE (cover and caddy are included)
15 SXGA+(1400x1050) TFT LCD
64MB ATI Radeon 9600
24x-8x DVD(slim)
Intel 802.11b/g wireless
Bluetooth/Modem
1Gb Ether
UltraNav
Sec Chip

6c Li-Ion
WinXP Pro.............COA intact
No AC adapter
This is a rare T42 with fingerprint reader, and pretty much all the other options that these machines could be ordered with at the time. Runs cool and quiet, and is a joy to use. No signs of any ailments in GPU or SouthBridge areas.Way too nice of a unit to be parted out.
known imperfections:
- Normal wear and tear for a laptop of this vintage
- A small piece of plastic chipped from one of the bottom corners, no damage to the chassis
- One visible grayish mark on otherwise well-kept FlexView LCD
I've got almost any part you could think of to upgrade this classic ThinkPad if so desired...all you have to do is ask nicely and pay promptly...
