Re: My thinkpad 390E HELP!!!
I have searched Hi and Low of some help and I found this place. I love older computers.
Thank you for your help.
Re: My thinkpad 390E HELP!!!
Good luck! I have been looking for something like this for years for my 390X.
The computers back then did not have restore partitions, and the cds they included with the computers were regular Windows 98 OEM install discs.

Re: My thinkpad 390E HELP!!!
IBM did produce SOME recovery CD's "way back then"..
for instance i have one for the 755CD/701C (someplace) but i probably don't have a CD for the 701C which required an IBM PCMCIA based CD drive..
so even if you found a CD for your 390E you would still need an "approved" CD drive..
