Detailed battery stats without using TV Power Manager? *PIC*

I would occasionally want to see full battery stats including cycle count, serial, etc. for my batteries under Windows 7, but I'd rather not install Power Manager because Windows's native power managing is good enough for me. Is there any software that will display these detailed stats?

BatteryMon will do all that...for a price. There are probably free utilities as well, but BMM is probably the best free utility for a ThinkPad.

Completely free and shows Manufacturer, FRU P/N, Design Capacity, Total Capacity (Full Charge capacity), Current capacity, Tension (Voltage) and Wear Level as a Percentage. Also has a few other useful features such as power plans, CPU temp., etc. Small footprint and pretty stable.

A few problems I've had with Lenovo Power Manager are slow startups on some systems, or stopped working suddenly and had to reinstall a couple times to get working again properly. Also seems to consume a lot of resources and slow certain systems down a bit.

I should have specified that the target machine is a ThinkPad X60 tablet running Windows 7.

I've tried all the suggestions above. BatteryMon won't run under Windows 7, even with administrator privilege. None of the software - BatteryMon, BatteryCare, Notebook Hardware Control, HWMonitor, and in addition RMClock - will show cycle count or temperature; so far only Lenovo's Power Manager is able to display these two pieces of information.

Is it a general opinion with veterans here that Thinkpad Power/ Batter Manager is not worth having? Unnecessary add on? (And sometimes you can use one of the outlined tools to monitor the extra info)

I actually gave in and installed Power Manager on my X60 tablet.
The way I see it, all the usual features (power schemes, settings like x time before suspend, etc.) are exact duplicates of power managing features already present in Windows 7. However, there are features like battery charge threshold and detailed battery status that are absolutely unique and not offered by anyone else.
