"quick" storage device test??
"quick" storage device test??
I bought a new X230 and immediately replaced the Windows-infected hard disk with a (so far empty, i.e. no OS) Samsung SSD. I found my way to the Lenovo Diagnostics screen, ran the memory test (passed after a few minutes) and am now running the "quick" storage device test. The "smart status" and "smart short selftest" passed quickly, but the "drive self test" has been running for about 2 hours. Anyone know how long is it supposed to take? It says "progress of current algorithm: 00%" in the progress bar, but maybe the self test just doesn't report intermediate progress. Thanks.
