Yeah, a 3:2 Thinkpad would be a nice thing.

Interestingly, Samsung has announced an ATIV for 2015 that is 2560x1600. That's close to 3:2. It actually works out to 8:5, which seems kind of odd, actually. Maybe the reviewer got the numbers wrong.

Nope, YOU got it wrong.
That screen is actually 16:10, similar to the T61/T400/T500 wide-screens.
It's a small step back in the right direction.

You're right. 8:5 is 16:10. Not sure how I missed seeing that. Clearly I should have had coffee before doing the math.

It is a step in a good direction though.

I am also happy to see the buttons come back on the Thinkpads.

What are you talking about? How can lenovo release these models if Intel hasn't released the CPU's yet? You need to wait until summer when Quad Core CPU's become available. Be patient.
