Hello everyone.
I'm interested in the possibility of changing the action that occurs when I press the three buttons that are below my touchpad. I use my trackpoint exclusively for all of my tracking; naturally, I only ever use the buttons that are designed to be used while using the trackpoint, and I never use the other buttons. I'm curious if anyone might have any strategies for trying to find a way to have those buttons perform other actions, such as backward/forward instead of primary/secondary click, and maybe close application instead of middle click.
Obviously I'm not asking, "Where in the Synaptics Control Panel is this option?!" I understand this isn't a conventional thing to try to configure. Instead, I'm wondering if anyone has any creative ideas for trying to workaround something like this.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and input!
