Another ballsup from Lenovo: the 40Y8725 Ultrabay SATA-adapter

Lenovo proves once more that they don't have all their ducks in a row.
You can buy an Ultrabay SATA-adapter, which they sell as: 40Y8725.
But when you receive the box, BEWARE!
I have two original Lenovo SATA Ultrabay adapters in their original box, each marked with 40Y8725.
Contents box #1: adapter with FRU 43R1984, P/N 43R1981, outside connector: 2-piece SATA (made in China)
Contents box #2: adapter with FRU 45J7902, P/N 45J7901 , outside connector: 1-piece IDE (flat) (made in Philippines)
But the above #2 is not the only IDE-one sold as 40Y8725.
Also sold as # 3 : adapter with FRU 26R9247, P/N 26R9246, outside connector: 1-piece IDE (flat) (made in ??)
Also sold as # 4 : adapter with FRU 43N3429, P/N 43N3428, outside connector: 1-piece IDE (flat) (made in ??)
Maybe there are more?

The above IDE-version is meant for R6x/T6x/Z6x and similar, plus docking stations with Ultrabay
The SATA-one should fit in R4xx/R5xx/T4xx/T5xx and others

I find this rather ridiculous...
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)

One wonders if it's worth paying the premium for "genuine" Lenovo anymore. What else did they screw up?
