Quick Googling of "Intel Tablets" brings a page of product listing and reading. First link takes me to intel.com's store section. Within that section click on "Browse Tablets" and there's 79 products listed there.

How does the core m compare to the Atom? I may just have to go with a 2 in 1 not many choices....

Not a fan of Atom CPUs. Pretty anemic performance wise. It was Intel's answer to ARM CPUs. Even Intel have pretty much given up on Atom.

The Thinkpad X1 Tablet was something i was looking at! Although they only come with core M cpu and not core i cpu

The miix 720 could be another good competitor as the surface pro 4 is now already outdated but still quite usable still and even though the surface book is a 2 in 1 it maybe one of the best so far.... just have to see what else is there as google doesn't work for me when trying to find tablets with core i cpus

Is there a tablet available with something faster than an i7-6650U?

You might also wait to see if MS releases SP5 next month with the big Windows 10 update as some rumors suggest.

if the Lenovo Miix 720 comes out before the SP5 than it will be 15% faster than the SP4 as the Mixx 720 will have a 7th gen i7 vs the 6th Gen i7 in the SP4

Sounds like that will use HD 620 graphics though which would be outperformed by the Iris 540. The graphics is where the i7 SP4 outdoes any other system of its size including non-convertible laptops with smaller than 13" screens. Not so important if you're primarily using it as a tablet though.

A ThinkPad Helix comes with an ultrabook ivy bridge i5 or i7.

Otherwise, the only other tablet I can think of at this moment is Porsche Design's expensive offering.

Interesting that this is referred to as a Surface Book competitor when it doesn't seem to mention anything about having a discrete GPU which to me means it's no competitor at all. Especially when Surface Book now has a pretty serious GPU available (GeForce GTX 965M).

that Porsche Design looks really nice! that SSD is a bit small for my needs.... but I think it's a bit high for the price
