Windows 7 or Windows 10?

#1 Post by Whitieiii » Thu Sep 07, 2017 3:09 am

what should I go with on my T440P when I get a hard drive? don't know what it originally came with as I haven't seen the bottom of the machine and it's missing a windows sticker and being cheap i'll reuse the key if it hasn't been used more than once but what would you recommend and why? I have windows 7 most of my machines except for my T440s since I wanted to test out windows 10 and wanted to kill it's original windows 8.1 at the same time.... I hate windows 8.1 more than I do windows vista! it's my number one hated Microsoft OS!

anyways what do you recommend I run on my T440p and why?

Install Linux, then you won't have to argue with anybody about WHY using WHAT Windows version.
Personally I'll never use that W10 abomination.

I would use Linux but I use applications that require Windows... Like my live TV service requires windows and Google chrome and I use Sony movie studio 13 sometimes I could relearn a new video editor but then I can't watch my live TV

Windows 10. Windows 7 only has a little more than 2 years left. So I would say, its best to get used to it now, Windows 10 is the future of Windows.

Good point! I don't mind Windows 10 and I'm used to it on my T440s so putting it on my T440p would make it feel like I'm using the same machine just with a tad bit more power
