Has Lenovo finally realized the keyboard layout is so crippled (.80 series)?

I found interesting comment in Reddit discussion about the cripped 6-row keyboard layout. The T480 User Guide states:

Using the special keys
You can configure the Fn key and function keys in the Keyboard Properties window ...

Fn+Left Arrow key: The Home key
Fn+Right Arrow key: The End key

While it is still far from correct 7-row layout with navigation keys cluster, it is still good workaround of the idiotic 6-row keyboard layout design where Home/End and PgUp/PgDn keys are on the opposite side of keyboard

Software fix of a hardware (*) problem

(*) Includes both the keyboard layout and the managers' brains.

I think the stupidest design change that lenovo has made is when they got rid of the classic 7-row keyboard. The T25 is not something i'm interested in either because of it's 16:9 aspect ratio.
