display problems can they be fixed?
display problems can they be fixed?
looks like both my T440s and Yoga S1 are having an annoying display problem where the backlight will dim in dark/black screens and slowly brighten up in light/white screens and it's noticeable when the display brightens as it is super slow and it annoys me... is there any way to stop this problem? I think it's caused by like dynamic contrast or power saver but I've set Intel display power saver to max performance and didn't help my problem... I see this both on battery and the power plug... what can be done to fix this problem? I've tried to do a google search but didn't help me as I couldn't find anyone with the same problem

Re: display problems can they be fixed?
When you set the GPU to maximum performance, does it automatically disable "display power saving technology"? Maybe it needs to be configured explicitly.
