Just another crippled model with misleading Think moniker legacy. Cheap generic laptop design and no trackpoint.
Fortunately I no longer care anyway.

Cheap gray Macbook imitations, for eff-sake, WHY Lenono?
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
Re: Lenovo Readies New ThinkBook Family of Laptops
That's pretty much the same for every premium laptop producer.
Dell's Precision series post-M models are sheer junk. I'm working on one right now. If it wasn't provided by my employer, it would have been thrown through the window already. I really like the M6400 Covet and M6600 I own.
HP's Elitebooks commanded unusable keyboards and crappy feel post-8570/8770 series. Had one of those Z-books, turned unusable to me. 8740w I have has its flaws but is a great laptop to work on, and 8760/8770 units turned great as well.
Thinkpads... you can see them there. We really shouldn't complain at T25 or the likes. Lenovo is pretty much answering the market. And the market consist mostly of bread-and-cheese eaters, not of laptop enthusiasts.
Most of the demand is generated by large companies, and they do care mostly about price and support (this order). Working in automotive industry, given a brand new W500 I was able to use it as CAD machine, mallet or lever if needed. This is just not the case anymore.
(However, I can't accept the "Think" with no trackpoint!)
