Swapping batteries between machines

#1 Post by Whitieiii » Tue Oct 22, 2019 6:59 pm

I've got the largest external battery in my T440s but was looking around and saw some listings on ebay hinting the T440s and x260 use the same battery.. if that's the case i might swap batteries around because mum doesn't use the T440s enough on battery to need the large battery... Is it true the batteries are the same and can be swapped between the two machines?

For all such questions, compare the frubom/parts lists of those machines.
You'll find that the answer is YES.
From xx30 series onward, these PDF-files have to be downloaded separately from the HMM.
If you were a proper Thinkpad fan, you should have all those files already on your HDD/SSD!
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)

PS: the old Boardroom website is still available on the Wayback Machine
