Xworld saying Hello to you!

#1 Post by Xworld » Tue Nov 29, 2005 9:05 pm

Hi everybody! (I'm very sorry my English level is very poor…… )

I'm Xworld, and I came from China. I found this Thinkpad forum by chance.

There are so many Thinkpad fans in our country (we named "Black Fans"<because Thinkpad is always black color  >), and we are happy to talk about the everything of Thinkpad.

In our country, there are so many "Black Fans" building Thinkpad Forums on web, and we discuss everyting in it (e.g. buy a new Thinkpad, solve problem in Thinkpad, buy 2nd-hand Thinkpad, DIY Thinkpad, maintain and update Thinkpad by self, collecting Thinkpad products etc.).

We always concerning this Thinkpads.com forum, and I very like this forum & everybody in it, and I hope to make friend with you! :D

It's always nice to see new members around, in most cases. I'm also a big fan of my "blacktop" and the few in my collection, despite being older than dirt, have served me greatly.

It's actually quite funny that you mention DIY Thinkpad almost all of my ThinkPads could be considered "DIY." My 760ED doesn't have a single original part except for the keyboard and my 760E was built partly from the leftover parts from upgrading the 760ED and the rest from parts found under my bed and in my closet and my 380ED has had most of it's outside plastics replaced.

Well, anyways, enough with my bragging and rambling. I wish you the best regards and I hope the site can be of use to you as well as any of your buddies.
