DIFFERENCES BETWEEN 2007-94U AND 2623-DDU....

I AM NEW TO FORUM AND IBM'S. AFTER 16 YEARS THIS WILL BE MY FIRST IBM LAPTOP. IVE OWNED ALMOST ALL MAJOR MANUFACTURERS AND SOME SMALL .
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE VERIFY-
ARE THE ONLY 2 DIFFERENCES (ACCORDING TO THE PSREF DATED 1-06) IS THAT THE 2007 HAS A 2.16GHZ AND THE 2623 HAS 2.0? ALSO- UNDER THINKVANTAGE PRODUCTIVITY CENTER THE 2623 HAS MAINTANANCE MANAGER LISTED AND THE 2007 HAS AWAY MANAGER LISTED. ARE THESE TWO ITEMS THE SAME? IF NO CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE TO GET THE EXPLANATION OF THE DIFFERENCES?

ALSO- DOES THE ADVANCED MINI DOCK SUPPORT DVI? DO YOU KNOW WHAT DVI IE: DVI-A, DVI-D OR DVI-I? A = ANALOGUE, D=DIGITAL, I = BOTH. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANSWERS.

If you are comparing the two models and prices that you might be looking at, the 2623-DDU might be cheaper because it is a "Top Seller" model, which means that they are the ones that they use for their specials, and are preconfigured and set to go as is.

Also, you might want to take the Caps Lock off, because on the internet this is considered yelling, and some will not even respond to posts in all caps.

2007 has 3 year international warranty while 2623 only 1 year US warranty. hope this helps.
