I like the concept of the spill shield, but I've heard that a X41 was shown with a guy pouring coffee into it and it survived.

This is accomplished by two steps:

1. The falling of the liquid disturbs air molucules and the sensors mounted on top of the screen detects this perturbation of the air molecules.

2. Another set of sensors called the "DigiNose" analyses the molecules and identify whether its cofee, tea, milk, beer etc... Once the liquid is identified then the appropriate shield will osp up. i.e if its cofee, tea etc. only an ordinary shiled will come up as seen in the video. But if its a valuable comodity like Beer 8), then thhe shield will turn into a cup so as to save the precious liquid.

i think that's pretty amazing. i thought it was not practical it real life,

but only in set stage...

i still don't think the rocket thing has any chance. it's not practical. it works only in limited conditions & the rockets will be too heavy & must be replaced everytime it does that.

it's better to build sturdier laptop.
