We I just went to their site to look at any T60 and it has 90day carry in warranty.

Looks like a new policy, glad I got mine when I did cause 90days would be a deal killer for most!

Guess that is why the T60 is reported to be on sale as they have removed the warranty!

I called Lenovo sales regarding the $2499 T60p 200783U. He checked and said it is a 3-year warranty and the website is in error. He is reporting the error. I told him many of the models were reporting 90-days that didn't previously. So hopefully they will fix the website soon.

Yeah, thats just stupid... I mean it probably won't hurt sales though. People like us would just continue and buy the laptop WE want, and then pay the money for a warrenty. So they are making out, at our expensive... but if they want to keep their customer base happy, it would be most prudent to make sure that 90day thing is removed...

Well, the warranty upgrades are still the same price... and since I would upgrade to three years of TPP anyway... not that huge of a deal.

I called to report the 90 day warranty on the website also, and was told that there had been a memo about it, that it was an error, and that it was being corrected.
My guess is that it must be an error, because even some T60p models are listed with 90 day warranty right now, which must be a mistake.

DELL has 90 warranty on their systems....remember who took over from Dell?

Maybe he forgot he was no loner at Dell, sent a memo on the 90 warranty; by the time he figured out what happened it was too late.... LOL! With all the black eyes I have gotten from Lenovo so far....even if this was the case....it would not surprise me.......
