Lenovo rebates and authorized resellers

Has any of you ever received a rebate for a ThinkPad bought on buy.com? I cannot seem to find any proof that they are an authorized reseller.

Speaking about authorized resellers: many of them have some ugly reviews on resellerratings.com. Which are the most respected authorized Lenovo resellers in this community?

Also, how good is Lenovo at honoring rebates?

best reseller used to be ME..!
but that ended in late 2004/early 2005 when they decided they did not want to sell direct to me any longer..

i AM or WAS a PCVar
i STILL get a few new thinkpads but i doubt that you would be a customer since i am limited to the top models..
and i don't buy direct anymore and trying to go through ingram micro will yield a discount well below 10%..

I guess I am too frugal.
