Y-Claim classification, what does this mean?

I have read about N-Claim and S-Claim but can't find any info on Y-Claim, thinking about buy a thinkpad from thinkpadworld ebay shop, I have read a bit about them seems legit, they even link to this forum?! I know it means its been used or sent out and returned but each level has a different amount of use would be good to know.

any help would be great on the Y-claim certification thing though.

This is what I found from the first result-

These remanufactured products are sold by IBM with a Y-Claim classification, which means that they are in brand new condition. These are brand new items which were either:

(A) shipped to an IBM reseller or end user and then returned, in most cases unused, or

(B) a custom ordered configuration which was cancelled or,

(C) brand new odd lot or overstocked inventory.

yeah i did searched google actually for "y-claim classification ibm" but I didn't find anything other than links to ebay, so I imagine that you found it because you were using google.com rather than .co.uk? anyway thanks for the info I'll search .com and .co.uk in future!
