Either pay the seller or email him and explain that the bid was an error and you'll pay his listing costs and the costs to relist it and hope that he's reasonable.

I find it interesting that the bidding history shows the second highest bidder ("Bidder 1") to not be a registered user.

Makes one wonder what might be going on there...

Glad to hear it Carlos, be sure to pay him via eBay and Paypal so that the seller has a proper record of the correct selling price in order to prevent his having to pay eBay fees for the ~$400 selling price.

Glad to hear that the seller had a level head. I used to work witrh a guy that made a similar mistake on a bike jacket. The seller put up such a stink that it ended up worth paying the oops just to shut her up.

I have a few "extra" TP's here... wanna buy one????

I did the same thing on a T23 not too long ago. I went to put in a max bid of $140.00 and put in $1400.00. I did it with only about 20 seconds left so couldn't catch it. I ended up winning it, (obviously) for $191.00. It's currently in my stable and am quite happy with it. Considering what most T23's are going for on eBay, it wasn't a bad deal. Yes......my wife constantly reminds me of what it could've been.....

So i am not the first person making this mistake

James,

I did do everything thru paypal, and thanks i will let know the seller of the price thing so he will not end up paying more on ebay fees than he made on the sale.

Congras, a very good price.

Bidder 1 does look suspicious. Looks like shill bidding to me.

anyway, it is a good end and no need to report to eBay.
