Wow... some slides there I hadn't seen before. EDAT looks like a very useful feature. It's officially sanctioned overclocking, and the user doesn't even have to go out of the way to enable it :D
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!

Looks really promising, I just finished reading everything.
Review units should start arriving in the lab any day now, and with the embargo lifting in a couple of weeks, make sure you check back for full reviews of the first batch of Santa Rosa notebooks.
I am sure Lenovo is testing out Santa Rosa as we speak.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

So what? If you want an IBM logo on a T61, just get it from eBay:

Without built-in HSDPA or Wireless USB, I found nothing exciting from Santa Rosa.

If Santa Rosa means a colder thinkpad with longer battery life, that might be another story. It looks unlikely at this point.
