PCMark05 test fail?

#1 Post by Giovanni » Tue May 29, 2007 11:46 pm

I hope this is the right forum for this. I'm trying to run PCMark05 on my T60p, but it says that it fails the Web Rendering test, and I have no clue why. I can't seem to get meaningful search results to tell me how to fix the problem either. Unless I pass all the tests I can't get a score. :(

I'm not sure if system specs are needed for this or if there's a simple Windows switch that would prevent the test from running that I'm unaware of.

I too tried to run PCMark05 on my T60p. I couldn't figure out where exactly the test failed but it said "one or more tests failed and hence a valid score cannot be obtained". I am wondering what is causing this issue.

3D mark 06 however ran without any issue thus showing that the GPU functionalities are working fine.

Because it's a demo, you have to click the "view results online" button. That's where I found it said the Web Rendering test failed. I thought it might have been due to my disabling ActiveX, but re-enabling it did not fix the problem.

Both 3DMark05 and 3DMark06 ran fine and I got my results.
