Do you guys use a desk stand for you laptop?
I've got a t43, and want to get an elevated stand. I've seen bad reviews of the griffen offerings, mostly because of slippage. Has anyone here come across a good stand for their thinkpad.
Coming soon

I've seen one of these, they look quite nice and include a full keyboard

I have the one that's pictured at the bottom and have used it for about 2 weeks or so. It's brought the screen to an ideal level for me at the 15 degree mark, and it's a nice simple design.RealBlackStuff wrote: Here's a large selection of alternatives:

I had a while ago, built an stand from K'nex (lend some from my little brother
). Worked quit well, but my Compaq has it's CD-ROM drive at the front, and not at the side, so it wasn't very handy
But it was quite strong, and didn't collapse from the weight of my Compaq. (3,2KGs! Ooompf! )

I do...sometimes.
I bought a generic stand/cooler off eBay about a year ago for the HP I was using at the time.
It was a little small for the 17" HP. It fits my X30 perfectly though.
It basically a bent piece of plexiglass which has a 1" or so rise in the back, with 2 fans underneath for cooling.
It attaches with a USB cable, and there is a couple of ports in the back of the stand/cooler.
I must say, it really does work well (as a cooler). I use NHC and i can see the temps do drop when I have the fans turned on.
I'm not sure what you're looking for...do you just want a slight (1-2") elevation? There are also stands such as the Kingston Notebook stand that elevates the LCD to eye level and is designed to be used with keyboard.

I suggest eBay...
