IBM web new look!!

I love the new look of the IBM web, they should have done it a long time ago, the new one looks much more professional, new one: 4.5/5 stars. maybe it's just me who cares :wink:

wow.. i didnt really believe you at first cuz i was just on the ibm site some hours ago... but wow, it's pretty nice.. have yet to surf around it though

Wow. I love its blue-black color. And it's much faster too. Bill, I guess it's time for a new Thinkpads.com look. :wink:

Eh, its alright....that blue is BORDERLINE on the ugliest color in the world - Tarheel blue

Heh... the mockups which had the "Napster girl" as the hero was better than Palmisano's mug :P But the big thing is not the design, but the new "Task based navigation". There's some hardcore search technology hiding behind those text links.

Personally I'm not a big fan of the design. It's a bit like "Hey IBM, the 90's wants its 'look of the future' back". I don't know why most people equate flat, boring, and monochromatic with futuristic, clean and stylish.

Reminds me of Novell's site.

Perhaps because monochromatic tends to be eye appealing while multi colors tends to be busy and eye confusing, if the colors are not properly selected, and as a Florida registered Architect, I know how difficult it is to properly select colors. Most get it wrong every time.
