buying x61t online from US

hi! i m planning to order an x61tablet online from US soon. will ordering from euclidcomputers.com be advisable? otherwise i'm open to suggestions. thanks everyone.

I am also from outside United States. I ordered T60 laptop a week back via Amazon. 1 of friend is coming to India so I gave his postal address in US.

In your case, I wonder if the web site from where you are going to purchase will deleiver the laptop to Malaysia? I think buy.com or Amazon.com would be more reliable. I dont think any other US web sites ship laptops abroad expect above 2 web sites and eBay.

I sugest you to purchase within United States and tell some1 to bring it to Malaysia. Would be very cheap and you will not need to pay custom duty and taxes.

p/s: you can also contact friendly ThinkPad sellers from this forum. You'll get plenty rebate from them.

hi AmeY, thanks for the suggestions. sadly i dont have anyone coming back fr US this soon. i know of 2 sites that say they'll courier the package via fedex - euclid, pc connection.com and thinkpadworld. the reviews differ fr each merchant thus past experience fr members would greatly help. anyway, i'll keep looking!

I've bought x60tablet from euclidcomputers.com this august. Destination was in The Netherlands, and everything was very good except some little mistake by FedEx, wich led to 6hour delay in shipping

Further I was totally satisfied with this shop, and my next thinkpad will be bought from them

I highly recommend euclidcomputers.com
