ThinkPad tube (Patent Pending)

#1 Post by ResidentG33k » Thu May 01, 2008 2:15 am

Hey anyone thought it'd be a cool idea to put up a website dedicated to like Thinkpad Tutorial Videos and just Tutorial Documents (PDF's and How-Tos)? I have a friend who hosts websites and this just came to mind. It wouldnt be necessarily called ThinkTube, but something along the lines of that.

Give me your ideas, i posted a poll to see what your guys' opinion is. Also reply to the thread with any suggestions.

mod edit: poll removed as this "idea" already exists.   please see post below.
mod edit: moved to general news/comments forum.

Lenovo already has the videos and 'we' have the knowledge and info available on this forum, although not in .pdf format. Who would read that anyway?
Waste of time & space IMHO

my suggestion would be to go to the resources that lenovo already has in place...

videos/tutorials: lenovo service and support training

assembly/troubleshooting manuals: hardware maintenance manual index - thinkpad

systems references: thinkpad / thinkcentre / thinkstation / ideapad / 3000 notebooks / 3000 desktops / monitors
ThinkStation P700 · C20 | ThinkPad P40 · 600

I have viewed quite a few of those lenovo service videos and they are worth checking out if you have an interest in how the thinkvantage stuff works.
