Lenovo Outlet Order/Shipment Tracking

Does anyone have a URL/Link to the website for Lenovo Outlet order and/or shipment tracking?

assuming you received an order confirmation email you can plug your info into the following template:

https://www.directlenovo.com/orderstatu ... oid=xxxxxx

'cid' is your customer number and 'oid' is your order number.   replace the x's with your cid/oid numbers and it should pull up your order status with tracking number if it has shipped.

Harry,

What you're asking (shipping-wise) for is non-existent. Once they actually ship the unit, the tracking link to UPS is included and that's it. You'll be notified on the day that the machine is shipped. I've bought a couple of units there and a zillion shares of Bayer (as in aspirin, because I needed it) stock... :lol:

Generally, as has been stated before in this thread, if you use the link that the Lenovo outlet gives you for order tracking after an order is confirmed (by email), this will bring you to a current order status which will include shipment tracking information after the order ships.

This has always been true for those purchases I have made from the new (channeladvisor) outlet, when the notebook shipped from China.

I had one system, which shipped out about 2 months ago, which indicated it had shipped on the order information but no tracking information was provided. After 2 days, I called Lenovo sales and got connected to a fellow in India (I know this because I asked him where he was located) who was able to provide me with the UPS tracking number for the notebook. This notebook had shipped from North Carolina, and did not arrive for several more days since I am about 5 days away from NC by UPS ground.

I've had 3 or 4 outlet purchases shipped from China, all of which had tracking information posted on the order status webpage within a day of actual shipment.

If you can conclude anything from this one-case experience where tracking information was not posted online, it would be that you should get a tracking number posted online in your order status report within a day of the order having shipped. If you do not, call Lenovo and they will give you the tracking information over the telephone. The posting of tracking numbers online (associated with the order status webpage) MAY be more likely with orders shipped directly from the manufacturing center in China than for those orders previously warehoused in NC.

My latest experience with the Outlet:

a) Ordered the machine, saved the initial order page.
b) No confirmation of the order. Hold put on my CC, but released.
c) Full week with no order confirmation.
d) Another hold on my CC, released again during second week. Still no email with order confirmation.
e) Shipment confirmation, CC charged, approximately 2 weeks after the initial order, machine received the next day.

Erratic...and the machine has wrong specs...so I'm still debating what to do with it...

Thanks for the replies. I was never given any tracking information with my recent order but was able to get it using personal contacts, emails to Lenovo, and this thread. Makes me wonder what someone does as a Lenovo Outlet customer without this forum and personal contacts, but I am betting that most times the machine just shows up at the door one day unexpected ... :roll:
