Does extended warranty cover accessories in same order?

Looked thru the FAQs and ran searches but couldn't find where this has been addressed.

If I build a Thinkpad configuration and add accessories like a dock and monitor, then add a warranty extension, does that cover those accessories?

I won't be surprised if it doesn't but figured I'd ask. Thanks.

i don't THINK so..
but for the last word, print the warranty page and read it..

if it is confusing on this point, get an email clarification..

in short, get it on paper so you can prove it at a later time..

My understanding is that if it is "in the skins" - i.e. inside the thinkpad it is covered. For example, a WAN card, a second SODIMM, a fingerprint reader, an upgraded hard drive or optical drive.

If it comes to you in a separate box - it is not. Dock, monitor, USB drive, etc.

Batteries have a separate warranty no matter what.
