There are some interesting pictures of the test platform running Windows XP and what appears to be a movie and a benchmark at the same time. One core is running at 100% utilization while the other is at half or so.
The temperatures of the CPU were not reported, but after physically touching the the heatsinks on the CPU and the north-bridge, we can definitely say the heat emission isnt high at all. In fact, we'll even risk and say that the temperatures are on the same level or even lower than of the current Pentium-M processors.
And yes, the test system is using an IBM LCD and what appears to be an IBM keyboard.

:D

More Yonah pictures here:

Again, note the small size of the cooling components and the task manager showing 2 CPUs.

Floating point performance is drastically improved, and the chipsets and WiFi get miniaturized even more. The PCIe WiFi module is positively miniscule compared to the mPCI module.

Indeed, said Mooly Eden, VP of Intel's Mobility Group and one of the minds behind the 'Banias' processor that became the first Pentium M, Yonah is going to make for "one hell of a gaming machine".

To redress the balance, Yonah will support SSE 3. According to Eden, it also features an enhanced floating point engine and a beefed up instruction decoder that can handle "several" SSE instructions in parallel. SSE and SSE 2 have been added to the list of instructions that the architectur's micro-operations fusion system can handle. Together, these tweaks are called Digital Media Boost, he said.
