Password Manager & FF 3.6

#1 Post by Lenny2 » Wed Apr 07, 2010 1:16 am

I was forced to update to Firefox 3.6 and was using PWM 2. I heard about the PWM patch issue and obtained a copy; which I ran after installing FF 3.6. PWM has an icon in the system tray and opens when clicked on, but it doesn't work beyond that. In the "add-ons" window the PWM is ghosted with no options to do anything.

I got this notice from the Patch:
"Thinkvantage Password Manager 3.01 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 3.6"

I have read many of the manual mods and NTT add-on, but, they don't seem to be working.

I know this is a tired old subject, but what can I do next?

I've not the possibility to right click on the PWM add-on as I've made the patch to the .xpi file you can find somewhere in the forum, but if PWM is grayed (not compatible) I think you will have it.
I also see an "Override all compatibility button".

Thanks

I had looked for a patch, but going by the dates, I had just missed it. I probably wouldn't have returned to check again either. Thanks for the update.

I picked it up via the Lenovo downloads and drivers RSS feed. ;)
