Is there a taller display than a UXGA 15" 4:3 T60(p)/T61(p)?

A 15.0" 4:3 display has a height of 9.00". For currently available laptop panels, I know of two that are barely taller:

17.0" (16:10) = 9.01"
18.4" (16:9) = 9.02"

In addition, in the Pentium 4 era, Sony had a 16.1" laptop series with 4:3 aspect ratio and a height of 9.66". Here's a review of it: http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/product/ ... p_161.html

But there has never been a 16.1" Thinkpad, unfortunately.
Microsoft Surface 3 (Atom x7-Z8700 / 4GB / 128GB / LTE)
Dell OptiPlex 9010 SFF (Core i3-3220 / 8GB / 8TB); HP 8300 Elite minitower (Core i7-3770 / 16GB / 9.25TB)
Acer T272HUL; Crossover 404K; Dell 3008WFP, U2715H, U2711, P2416D; Monoprice 10734; QNIX QHD2410R; Seiki Pro SM40UNP

Wow, now that's quality research/data. :) Thanks pianowizard!
Looks like the Sony is too old, the 17/18" machines not worth it. But darn good to know the "exhaustive" market.

It turns out I wasn't exhaustive enough, because after my last post, I remembered that there are a few 19" and 20" laptops (which actually use desktop LCD panels!). Obviously, these would be much taller than the 15.0" T60p, but they are extremely heavy and have very short battery durations and so you wouldn't want them anyway.

Sold! I have been downsizing my collection. The Compaq desktop in my sig is the next one to go. I was going to sell my 240Z as well and upgrade to a Sony X Series, but yesterday I replaced the anti-virus software on this 240Z from Avira to Avast which gave it a huge performance boost. So I decided to hold on to it for a bit longer.
