Bad recovery disc 3?

Is it possible to have a bad disc that will not install. Disc 1 and 2 install o.k. then when I put in Disc 3 I get a message "it,s the wrong disc". Lenovo won"t replace them,(had them longer than 30 days they said) but will sell me another set. I'm desperate. My drive is formatted and my discs don't work. Help
