IBM Certified Used Notebook Warranty?

#1 Post by Nomad-Man » Tue Mar 15, 2005 12:34 am

If I buy a used notebook directly from the IBM certified used notebooks section on their website.
Am I able to upgrade the warranty (comes with a 1 yr) from a 1 yr to a additional year or two.
Or is this option only available for New Notebooks.

Nomad,

The default warranty on most Certified Used models is 90 days, but some of the newer ones (T41 models for example) come with 1 year warranty. However, I'm pretty sure that you can extend the default 90 day warranty on those Thinkpads that come with it by adding that option to your shopping cart. At least that's the way it used to be a couple of months ago when I got my T23.
