Enhanced Experience 2.0, potential upgrade?

#1 Post by yetanotherthinker » Thu Mar 24, 2011 6:39 am

With the new ThinkPad systems, Lenovo introduced Enhanced Experience 2.0. This new certification allows boot up times of a scary 10 to 15 seconds on a good configuration.

I just bought a T410 about a week ago before learning about EE 2.0. Is it possible or likely that Lenovo will include a software/firmware upgrade for this so that it will be possible to gain fast bootup times? Because the method that they use is secret, I can only speculate that they've used some BIOS method or UEFI technology.

Insight would be greatly appreciated.
