is the shop.lenovo.com down for others now also? clicking on "customize & buy" never loads. been this way for me for the last 15 min.
Levono.com website is so pathetic anyway even when it does work:
* it never remembers your account or makes it easy to relogin to your acct (ever heard of cookies?)
* it takes 20 clicks to get to the laptop model you want
* "professional, lifestyle, essential" is such a moronic categorization: consumers do not think that (maybe stupid B-school marketing majors do). We buy based on features and technologies. Not "lifestyle or essential" or similar nonsense.

By the way, everything is working for me as of now.
Oh really? I believe that there are many people who will, in the first place, decide that they need ThinkPad and not IdeaPad or 3000; and only then will choose between thinkpads.* "professional, lifestyle, essential" is such a moronic categorization: consumers do not think that (maybe stupid B-school marketing majors do). And how do you suggest to categorize it in other way? "Intel-based laptops" vs "AMD-based laptops"? "15-inch" vs "14-inch", so there are ideapads and thinkpads in one category, but different T-series laptops are spread out through different categories?
Lifebook P1032 (1024*600 8.9") => Averatec AV1000 (WXGA 10.6") => Kohjinsha SH6 (1024*600 7.2") => Sharp M4000 (WXGA 13.3") => X200-AFFS, dead => X200s-AFFS, later -PVA => X220 4290RV5 + Intel 310 80GB, T420s 4173KSU + FHD IPS + Sandisk Z400s 128GB

Suppose I want a lightweight 13" with a high resolution screen? where do I start? (well in that case you should start at sonystyle.com, but that's another issue)penartur wrote:Oh really? lenovo outlet website is actually much better because you can narrow/filter through all the laptops from various features on the left of the website.

If the only primary requirements are "lightweight", "13-inch" and "high resolution", then you should start on some independent resource with an searchable list of laptops, something like this (in Russian).bhzmark wrote:Suppose I want a lightweight 13" with a high resolution screen? where do I start?
If you also require laptop to be made by lenovo... well, it is quite strange desire to purchase laptop made specifically by Lenovo, no matter whether it is a ThinkPad or, say, 3000 value line.
