Fn keys - remap

#1 Post by Deschanel » Wed Nov 23, 2011 10:50 pm

Hi,
I would like to have my Fn key remapped similar to what DELL has,
fo example if I press Fn + P (P has a NmLk *) then the nmLk * is displayed (code 00_37)

is there a way to do that ?
I tried to change in the registry (Windows 7), unfortunately I was able to map 1 to 1 only, and looks like I need to map 2(Fn + P) to 1(NmLk *).

Thanks.

AFAIK this has only been done on T61/X61 models.
Search for "Middleton BIOS".

Hi Group.

I use a program called "Keytweak". Latest version is 2.30.

Runs under almost any Windows version, including Windows 7 x64 (installs in the x86 directory).

Remap ANY key (including the Function keys) on ANY keyboard to emulate any other key or combination.

Runs like a charm on every Thinkpad I've ever used it on.

Freely available with a Google search.

Regards.
