Lost individual component control for Wireless Radios Fn+F5

I no longer have an "individual component" link on the Wireless Radios (Fn+F5) Hotkey feature so I can't individually disable Bluetooth or WLAN, only the Master Control is available on my X120E. I believe this occurred after installing Office 2010 as I have been pretty diligent about checking to see if it was working after installing every program but it has been a couple of days between installing Office and checking. I haven't tried doing a system restore as I am hoping someone has a solution without having to do one, besides, I had this happen before and a restore didn't work, I had to restore the initial backup I made and then start installing programs again.
A little history: When I received my X120E I made an initial backup before even starting it for the first time then upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate and installed a few programs before I noticed Bluetooth didn't work. There was no individual control on the Wireless Radios menu, no Bluetooth driver installed, and when attempting to install the driver it said no Bluetooth device was detected so I called Lenovo support and they tried unsuccessfully to repair it online so they had me send it in for Depot repair. Before getting the box to ship it back in, I read of this issue and tried the solutions including removing and reinserting the Bluetooth daughter card. When I received it back from depot repair it said on the ticket that they only reimaged the hard drive. I find that assertion a little suspicious because I restored the backup I made just before sending it in for repair and Bluetooth then appeared and worked but there was no individual component control so I restored the initial backup I made and Bluetooth then worked and had individual component control.
I have tired uninstalling and reinstalling the Hotkey driver but to no avail. Are there any suggestions as to what I can do to regain individual component control besides a system restore or restoring my initial backup and starting from scratch AGAIN?
