Thinkpad buying advice - possible desktop replacement

Now, I have my X61s and while it's the perfect mobile laptop I feel that I would prefer to have a 15" or so Thinkpad for home use.

I require a 1680x1050, 1920x1200 or 1080p screen.

1920x1200 seems to be available inexpensively in the T61p and W500 Thinkpad lines. I was seriously considering the W500 but then read of some GPU problems with them, I've also read the same of the T61p. The W500 would be nice as I wouldn't mind having some light 3D performance just in case.

Are there any other relatively inexpensive Thinkpad (T or W) that have the above resolutions?

My most intensive task would be playback of Hi10p video, so it doesn't have to be too modern. A late C2D would be more than enough I imagine.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi, thanks for the offer but that model is a bit old for me. I'll be putting an SSD in and SATAI is noticeably slower than SATAII. :)

After much thought today I think I'd most likely go for a 1920x1200 W500 from the above.
