Dear all,

I feel guilty asking here but has anyone ever had an issue similar to the one I'm describing below and would be able to help :

- I recently purchased a Thinkpad Edge E335 (Windows 7, 64bits) with a Swiss power supply, but mistakenly used my old Thinkpad SL300's French power supply on it....... Since then, I get graphics bugs and then the blue screen of death and an auto-restart...

- I've tried updating the AMD graphics drivers from the AMD website.... I've tried a small driver software suggested by Lenovo online support website, I've tried restoring the laptop to factory settings.... Nothing can make my new laptop work :(

Can anyone please help ?

I thought all the lenovo power bricks were able to take 100-240v 50-60Hz in as per the label on the bottom. Unless the pins were swapped, though there should've been failsafes in place. The lenovo ThinkPad power supplies are generally supposed to be cross compatible as well with the same 20v output(with different sized bricks generally working). If an incorrect power supply had broken something, then it'd probably be a hardware issue which software can't fix. If it is indeed hardware, you may want to consider sending the machine in or getting an onsite person if your warranty provides for such.

In the meantime, you could also possibly test with an operating system other than Windows or try a new installation to see if the problem persists there.

Unless the 'new' powersupply was faulty, it should work, as said above.
All those have the same output voltage 20V.
There are 65W, 90W and 135Watt versions, but all will/should work on both your machines..
