USB 2.0 port replicator IGFXEXT solution

Had the following problem last week -- maybe this info will be useful to someone:
Purchased a new E530 (3259-7BU) & a USB 2.0 Port Replicator.
The Edge worked fine alone but after setting up the PR, this message appeared:
The IGFXEXT Module Has Stopped Working. (Options to close or close & diagnose)
After every logon, this popped up four or five times. Once the messages were cleared, the system seemed to work properly.
Called Lenovo & they just said to run a Lenovo system update. This did not help & added an issue.
A little research suggested this message was related to Displaylink software.
Installed an update from Displaylink.com and no more message.
Following the Lenovo system update, messages related to audio popped up (Conexant & Dolby).
Installing the latest audio driver from Lenovo fixed this -- apparently this isn't included with the system update.
